Keller's "legal lynching" of Deyontae Williams

-- In Keller's and Medina’s progressive paradise, known at Portlandquerque, you are only allowed to exercise the freedoms that Keller, Medina and their progressive mob wants you to have.
-- Progressives like Keller march with Black Lives Matter, but holy crap, let one of those black men legally carry a gun, and Keller, just like a plantation owner, will beat him down for it.
How fitting for Albuquerque Police PIO Gilbert Gallegos to announce, on the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa Race Massacre, that APD was going to proceed, on their own, with the legal lynching of Deyontae Williams. This is more proof that Mayor Tim Keller’s administration has a systemic racism issue.
Williams was charged by Mayor Tim Keller’s police department for Child Endangerment for taking his children to a protest at Civic Plaza. The reason APD Chief Medina and Keller have a hard-on for Deyontae is that he, as a black man, dared to exercise his legal rights and legally carry a firearm. In Keller and Medina’s progressive paradise, known at Portlandquerque, you are only allowed to exercise the freedoms that Keller, Medina and their progressive mob wants you to have.
District Attorney Raul Torrez's office has declined to prosecute Deyontae, therefore tossing the ball back to Medina and Keller. Instead of admitting that Deyontae did not violate any laws and he was wrongly charged, APD publicly announced that they are going to go it alone and go after Deyontae. It’s what we call a “legal lynching.”
The same thing happened in 2020 when two other black men legally exercised their rights to carry a gun and APD charged them with a crime. Both charges were laughable and dropped. Both men filed a lawsuit against Keller and the taxpayers paid each of them $40,000 for the screw-
up. You would think that Keller and Medina would have learned after wasting $80,000 of our money, but no. Along comes another black man carrying a legal firearm and Keller’s APD trumps up ridiculous charges against him. It makes one wonder if the Ku Klux Klan is in charge in Albuquerque.
This is sick. Progressives like Keller march with Black Lives Matter, but holy crap, let one of those black men legally carry a gun and Keller, just like a plantation owner, will beat him down for it. Progressives love BLM, but they use their police to keep BLM in their place. The only thing that has changed since 1920 is that back then an uppity black man would find himself hanging from a light pole on Civic Plaza with a crowd of smiling white faces around him. Today that black man, Deyontae Williams, isn’t being lynched on Civic Plaza. Instead, Keller’s APD are trying to lynch him in a court of law, where they are going to bring everything the city can muster against one lone black man. Keller should be ashamed of himself for allowing Medina to legally lynch Deyontae.
One of two things will happen now, either Gallegos is lying to the public and APD will not refile the case and they will hope it all just fades away. Or Gallegos is truthful and APD will waste limited manpower and resources to legally lynch Deyontae. Either way the city taxpayer is going to owe Deyontae a lot of money for this malicious prosecution.
There is one other shameful outcome from the Deyontae Williams saga. Since 2010 Albuquerque has hundreds of unsolved homicides, yet Keller and Medina use valuable police resources to prosecute a black man who legally carried a gun. How does this make the family members of murder victims feel when APD cries to them about limited resources, but still finds the manpower to legally lynch Deyontae for a misdemeanor? It’s disgusting and it shows the world that progressive Tim Keller and Harold Medina don’t give a damn about real crime. No, they are scared of the black man who legally carries a gun.
It might be 2021, but Albuquerque sure feels like Tulsa in 1921.
